Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Indian Wild Safari, we strive to provide a transparent and seamless wildlife experience. Since our services involve government-regulated forest permits and private hotel bookings, our cancellation policy is governed by their respective terms.
1. Safari Permit Cancellations (Strict Policy)
As per the mandatory guidelines of the Uttarakhand Forest Department and Corbett Tiger Reserve:
- Non-Refundable: Once a safari permit (Jeep or Canter) is issued by the government, it is 100% non-refundable and non-transferable.
- No Rescheduling: Government rules do not allow changing the date, time, or names of travelers once the permit is generated.
- Park Closures: If the forest department closes any zone due to weather (monsoon/heavy rain), safety, or administrative reasons, Indian Wild Safari is not liable for any refund or compensation.
2. Hotel & Tour Package Cancellations
For resort stays and full tour packages, the following charges will apply based on the time of the cancellation request:
- 30 Days or More before Arrival: 25% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- 15 to 30 Days before Arrival: 50% of the total tour cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
- 0 to 15 Days before Arrival: 100% of the total tour cost (No Refund).
- Peak Season: For bookings during festivals (Holi, Diwali, Christmas, New Year) and long weekends, No Refund policy applies regardless of the cancellation date.
3. Service & Management Fees
- Non-Refundable: The professional service fee charged by Indian Wild Safari for expert itinerary planning, zone selection assistance, and documentation handling is non-refundable once the process has been initiated.
4. No-Show & Early Departure
- No-Show: If you fail to arrive at the designated pickup point or resort, it will be treated as a “No-Show,” and no refund will be provided.
- Early Departure: No refund will be issued for unused portions of the trip if you choose to leave before the scheduled check-out date.
5. Cancellation Process
All cancellation requests must be sent via email to Contact@indianwildsafari.com from your registered email ID. Requests made via phone calls or WhatsApp will be considered official only after email confirmation.
6. Force Majeure
Indian Wild Safari is not responsible for cancellations arising from natural disasters, strikes, or government lockdowns. In such cases, we will coordinate with hotels for credit notes (subject to their approval).
