Refund Policy

At Indian Wild Safari, we believe in transparency. Since our wildlife tour services involve government-regulated forest permits and private hotel bookings, our refund policy is strictly governed by their specific terms and conditions.
1. Safari Permit Refunds (Important)
As per the mandatory regulations of the Corbett Tiger Reserve / Uttarakhand Forest Department:
- Non-Refundable: Once a safari permit (Jeep or Canter) is issued by the government, it is 100% non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Government Decisions: If the forest department closes a specific zone due to weather (monsoon), VIP movement, or administrative reasons, Indian Wild Safari is not liable for any refund or compensation. However, we will assist you in alternative planning where possible.
2. Hotel & Resort Refunds
Refunds for resort stays and tour packages are processed based on the timing of your cancellation request:
- 30 Days or More Before Arrival: 75% refund of the total booking amount (excluding safari permit costs).
- 15 to 29 Days Before Arrival: 50% refund of the total booking amount (excluding safari permit costs).
- Less than 15 Days Before Arrival: No Refund (100% cancellation charges apply).
- Peak Season: During peak dates (Holi, Diwali, Christmas, New Year), many resorts follow a No-Refund policy.
3. Service & Management Fees
- Non-Refundable: The professional service and consultancy fees charged by Indian Wild Safari for expert itinerary planning, documentation handling, and zone selection are non-refundable once the process has been initiated.
4. No-Show & Early Departure
- No-Show: If a traveler fails to arrive at the designated pickup point or resort, it will be treated as a “No-Show,” and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
- Early Departure: If you choose to leave the tour or resort before the scheduled check-out date, no refund will be issued for the unused portion of the trip.
5. Refund Process
- Requests: All refund requests must be sent via email to Contact@indianwildsafari.com from the registered email ID used during booking.
- Timeline: Once approved, refunds are processed within 7 to 10 working days and credited back to the original payment source (Bank Account/UPI/Card).
6. Force Majeure
Indian Wild Safari is not responsible for refunds or cancellations arising from natural disasters, strikes, government lockdowns, or any “Act of God” beyond our control. In such cases, we will coordinate with hotels for credit notes for future travel, subject to their approval.
